Antifa Thug Finally Pays Price With A Long Prison Sentence

American citizens have watched the thugs of Antifa attack innocent citizens with fists and weapons and get no punishment for too long.

It has been frustrating to see ordinary American citizens expressing their support for President Donald trump being attacked for it.

It has been tough seeing journalists like Andrew Ngo, a gay conservative minority, attacked for his politics as he covered Antifa protests.

But this time one of the thugs got what was coming to him in the form of a long prison sentence, Oregon Live reported.

Gage Halupowski, was one of a group of protesters who chased a man in Portland, a Portland, Oregon police officer said in his report of the June 29 incident.

That is when a man named Adam Kelly stepped in to stop the group and protect then man and Halupowski clubbed him with a baton.

When a female police officer got involved to stop him from hitting the man he punched her an then ran like a coward.

But he did not get far enough from the scene as he was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, attempted assault of a public safety officer and interfering with a peace officer.

The defendant pleaded guilty to the charges of second degree assault outside The Nines Hotel and on Friday he was sentenced to near six years in prison.

Are Antifa terrorists?

His attorney Edward Kroll said that his client made “a really terrible decision” and that the victim did not deserve the assault he got.

But, he complained, that his client received “one of the harshest sentences I’ve seen for someone with no criminal background and young age.”

Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney Melissa Marrero said that her office is not picking sides on politics and still has charges pending for others involved with the protests.

“My office has individuals charged on both sides of the political spectrum,” she said, defending her office’s motives.

“We are not picking sides based on political affiliation, political views or anything like that,” she said, Oregon Live reported.
