WATCH: Leftist Teacher Caught On Video Degrading Student Who Wore Marines Sweatshirt – by Robert Gehl

A city councilman from a Los Angeles suburb is under fire after three videos emerged on social media showing him making disparaging remarks about the military and berating a student who wore a Marines sweatshirt.

Councilman Gregory Salcido – who is also a teacher at El Rancho High School – made the comments on school grounds. The Facebook post has since gone viral. Take a look:

The post has more than 1.5 million views. School officials said it was, in fact, Salcido on the tape. “We acknowledge it is his voice based on the research of the incident so far and knowing it came from one of our classrooms,” district Superintendent Karling Aguilera-Fort said in a phone interview.

Aguilera-Fort said he was alerted on Friday evening to the video where Salcido is heard saying, “They’re the frickin’ lowest of the low,” in reference to military members.

“We have reached out to Mr. Salcido but have not been able to talk to him because he is out of town,” Aguilera-Fort said, according to the Orange County Register.

The district is investigating, but would not identify the student who made the video.

“That’s not our priority right now,” he said. “Our first priority is to assure the community that what was said does not reflect the values of the El Rancho community and the El Rancho board.”
