Desperate Democrat Senators are asking Inspector General Michael Horowitz to expand his investigation into Rudy Giuliani to see if he unduly influenced Attorney General Bill Barr and the Department of Justice.

Senate Democrats are asking the Justice Department’s top watchdog to expand its investigation into Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, to include contacts with DOJ officials.
Ten Democrats sent a letter to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz asking that an ongoing probe into Giuliani’s contacts with FBI officials include if he had “improper communications” with senior DOJ officials.
“We are concerned that Mr. Giuliani’s interactions with senior DOJ officials may have unduly influenced or created conflicts of interests with regard to DOJ activities. At a minimum, Mr. Giuliani’s access creates an appearance of impropriety that could undermine trust in the agency,” they wrote in the letter to Horowitz.
“If his contacts do not violate one or more of these provisions, further internal guidance may be needed to ensure that DOJ delivers ‘fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans,’” they added.
As you might suspect this has nothing really to do with Rudy Giuliani.
It’s simply another fairly transparent attempt for Democrats to try and pin something, anything on President Trump.
What they are really hoping for is that President Trump somehow abused his power to influence Bill Barr and the Department of Justice.
Are Democrats insane?
It also appears that Democrats will NEVER learn their lesson. The more they go after President Trump the more they wound their own party.
I know they keep looking for a knock-out blow, but all they are succeeding knocking out is their own party.

The 3-year obsession with removing President Donald John Trump from office consumed and defeated Democrats. They should have worked with him. Obama should have been man enough to admit defeat, and given him a peaceful transition of power. This would have allowed the party to heal itself and prepare properly for 2020.
Instead, they resisted. All this did was get them all worked up and show how incompetent they are. They should have accepted defeat after the Mueller report, but no, they continued to try to bring down this president, which resulted in an impotent impeachment that wound up knocking out their best chance for winning in 2020, Joe Biden.
Without someone who appears to be moderate, Democrats are overrun by communist kooks.
It sure looks like Democrats plan on never relenting and accepting that Trump is President. In fact they are practically guaranteeing his re-election.
Maybe they just can’t help themselves. Perhaps their Trump Derangement Syndrome has passed the point of no return, and the insanity is baked in.
If Democrats are upset now, just wait until they get trounced in November.
