Hillary Tweets Bizarre Attack on Trump, Giuliani

Hillary Clinton slammed both President Donald Trump and his attorney, Rudy Giuliani early Sunday by asking Scrabble game maker Hasbro why it has not included the words “covfefe” and “ivesssapology” in its Scrabble app dictionary.

“Earlier this month, Scrabble updated its list of approved words for game play for the first time in four years (“ivesssapology” and “covfefe” were not among them),” Clinton tweeted. “But those changes aren’t yet reflected in the Scrabble app. Where are we on this, Hasbro?”

President Donald Trump used the word “covfefe” in a tweet in May 2017. The word was never explained, notes RT.com, but it led to many jokes and launched merchandise using the typo.

Meanwhile, Giuliani used the word “ivesssapology” in a tweet referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s demands for an apology for a retweet of a video that was doctored to make it appear she was speaking with a slur. The “ivesssapology” tweet has since been removed.

Twitter users widely ridiculed the former Secretary of State’s tweet, pointing out several words that could be connected with her:

“I wonder if they added BleachBit, whitewater, clintoncash, or uraniumone? #clintonscandals” one Twitter user, identified as Michal Wells, posted.

Other users posted tweets spelling out words associated with Clinton’s loss of the 2016 presidential election or scandals involving her, including one user, Stephen Miller, tweeted a picture of letters spelling Wisconsin.

Other users, however, wanted to know if some of Trump’s other typos have ended up in the Hasbro dictionary, including one who wanted to know if “hamberder” made the list.

But even while covfefe did not make the Scrabble app, it is an accepted play for another popular game, “Words With Friends,” another user pointed out.
