The left thinks that “Millennials” are going to be their saving grace in November.
With gun control, immigration and abortion-on-demand as their rallying cry, they are convinced that young voters will be the new face of the Democratic Party.
Take Maxine Waters, the decrepit California congresswoman (she’s almost 80!) thought that holding an event strictly for voters under 30 would be a great way to win them over.
Except – in order to win people over, you have to get them to actually show up.
And they did not.
It was a two hour event called – get this “Auntie Maxine Meet & Greet Tweet-a-Thon” (how insulting!) and it was billed as a chance for young people to join “”top social media influencers” to support “our fearless champion in Congress” and “reclaim our time.”
“Millennials come energized & ready to get out the vote!” a flyer read, according to Fox News.

Sounds exciting, huh? Except a tweet from Waters herself showed – well, about 10 or so people there. That’s it.

Look at ol’ Maxine! Wearing torn up denim too! Isn’t that cute? Waters thinks she can re-shape herself into a young, vibrant person when she’s got one foot in the grave. It looks like ol’ Maxine had less people to one of her rallies than Hillary Clinton would get.
Despite the lack of enthusiasm from young people, Waters easily advanced in Tuesday’s California primary to take on Republican Omar Navarro in California’s 43rd Congressional District. She has repeatedly called for President Trump to be impeached.
Ol’ Maxine has been in Congress since 1991. That’s longer than most of the ten people who showed up to “tweet-a-thon” for her have been alive.
