[ Editor’s Note: We had missed this item earlier by Petr Lvov on a leaked Israeli cable about a planned conflict between Hariri’s Sunni constituents and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and that the Saudis and Gulf Coalition States had advised their citizens to exit Lebanon right away.

Obviously someone misjudged, so the hunt is now on to answer the question was this a double or a triple setup con job, and who really initiated it? Whoever dreamed up the idea of Hariri resigning in Saudi Arabia killed any chance of the so-called planned event, as Hariri’s credibility went to zero.
