New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become the queen of outlandish statements.
In her short time in Congress she has said some of the most ridiculous things.
But her latest statement could be the topper of everything she has ever said.
In an interview with The Intercept the 29-year-old called herself ‘cisgender’ and said she had privilege because she was not transgender.
“’Almost every single person this country can acknowledge some privilege of some type, you know? I’m a cisgender woman,” she said.
“You know, I will never know the trauma of feeling like I’m not born in the right body, and that that is a privilege that I have no matter how poor my family was when I was born,” she said.
“But it’s really hard for some people to admit. It’s part of this weird American dream mythology that we have, that for a lot of, in a lot of circumstances isn’t as true or isn’t as clearly communicated as we’d like for it to be, or we wish it were,” the congresswoman said.
“’If you’ve never experienced different treatment in your life, you wouldn’t know what different treatment feels like or looks like,” she said.
It is about time that someone tests this woman for mental issues.
It does not seem plausible that a sane person made that statement.
.@AOC: I acknowledge my “privilege” in being born “cisgendered”

So, it’s a privilege to not have a mental disorder? I’ve got news for you, you have a mental disorder.

It is as if she constantly reads the victimhood playbook and can only remember the taglines.

It’s cute because she’s both tiny AND insane.

Pretty soon any phenotypically normal person will be “privileged.” We’ll all be guilty of some -ism soon enough.
