Sarah Sanders just explained why abuse of power is a bad thing, and hammered Democrats for doing it.

House Democrats are abusing their power by impeaching this President on the flimsiest of charges, for purely political reasons.

“I think the whole thing has been a huge waste of time from the beginning. What happened today was predictable and I think it’s a disgrace to members of Congress across the board. Nancy Pelosi made it clear this is something they’ve been working on for two and a half years,” Sanders said.

“This was something they had planned all along, they don’t like this president, they don’t like that he continues to deliver on everything he said he was trying to do and they are looking for everything they can to take him down.”

Sarah them hammered her point home “I think it’s a terrible thing for the country that they’ve used the impeachment tool and process, something that should be held for really big things to protect the presidency.”

“And what they’ve done, if anyone is abusing power it’s the members of the House Democrats are abusing this power and using impeachment as a political tool instead of what it is meant to be.”

At the end of the day I don’t think it’s going to matter, the president is going to go to the Senate, he will be vindicated there and he can get back to doing the work of the American people, get back to doing all the things he’s been doing.

This week alone, while the Democrats were wasting their time the president has delivered on a major trade deal.

This morning he announced another historic trade deal that has been reached with China, not only that, he signed an Executive Order on anti-Semitism, he’s also held a huge summit with his daughter on paid family leave and that’s just this week alone.

I think we are going to go to the Senate, this thing is going to go away and we will get back to doing the work of the people.”
