President Donald Trump is not one for subtlety and in his most recent torching of Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib he showed it.
The president responded to the fact that Rep. Tlaib begged Israel to allow her to see her grandmother and then when she got permission she declined, and it was brutal.
“Israel was very respectful & nice to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, allowing her permission to visit her ‘grandmother.’
“As soon as she was granted permission, she grandstanded & loudly proclaimed she would not visit Israel. Could this possibly have been a setup? Israel acted appropriately!
“Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother. Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down, a complete setup.
“The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She doesn’t have to see her now!” he said hilariously.
“Like it or not, Tlaib and Omar are fast becoming the face of the Democrat Party. Cortez (AOC) is fuming, not happy about this!” he said.

Is Tlaib lying about her reason to visit?

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, who was also blocked from visiting Israel, was furious and said “This is juvenile bs, do better!”

But what is juvenile is begging a nation to visit with the intent of them saying no so you could use it as propaganda against them.
And then when your bluff is called you back off and pretend the restrictions that they placed on you, that you agreed to in your letter, are the reason.
Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib has just proved that he trip to Israel was nothing but a publicity stunt from day one.
The nation, which previously banned her and Rep. Ilhan Omar, decided to allow her to visit her grandmother after she sent a letter begging to come.
But when Israel said it would allow her to come she slapped them in the face by saying she would not make the trip, Reuters reported.
U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib on Friday said she would not visit her family in the West Bank as planned despite a reprieve by the Israeli government allowing her visit.
“Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in – fighting against racism, oppression & injustice,” Tlaib, a Democrat representing Michigan, said in a series of tweets.
